An announcer, interrupting a broadcast at Vienna, read without explanation a telegram which Herr Hitler sent to .Signor Mussolini: “I shall never forget this of you. —Adolf Hitler.” The “Daily Telegraph’s” Berlin correspondent discloses that Herr Hitler’s thanks to Signor Mussolini were in reply to a telegram from Signor Mussolini, which read: “I congratulate you on the way you solved the Austrian problem. I had already warned Dr. Schuschnigg.”
