HUNTER ESTATE CASE

Appeal From Decision For Removal Of Trustees A fixture was made by the Court ot Appeal at' 'Wellington yesterday for the hearing of an appeal by Cyril Paul Hunter and Thomas Percy Hunter against the decision of Mr. Justice Smith, which removed both from the positions of trustees, and the former from the position of executor, of the estate of the late Sir George Hunter. The respondent is Edith May Hunter, widow of Sir George Hunter. The hearing is to begin on April 4 and is expected to last a week. Mr. C. H. ■Weston, K.C., and Mr. J. H. Dunn are counsel for appellant, and Mr. J. D. Willis and Mr. R. L. A. Cresswell counsel for respondent. The case occupied the Supreme Court for five weeks and a day last year, a great deal of evidence on the conduct of Porangahau Station being tendered. It is part of a train of litigation that has fol lowed the death of Sir-George Hunter in 1930.
