When he was knocked from hies bicycle by a motor-car last evening. J. Guise, labourer, 305 Adelaide Road, Wellington, received cuts to his face and hands, and a punctured wound to his scalp. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance from the scene of the accident in Jervois Quay, opposite the ambulance station, at about 5.25.
