Y.W.C.A. beat Kilbirnie, who were four players short, by 50 runs. Intermediate Grade. Lower Hutt 67 (J. Williams 16. N. Sissons 14), beat Technical Day Girls 45 (N. Eeles 17), anil 151 for eight wickets (J. I’rcstney 81, E. Htircomb 30, M. Renner 26, J. Rowberry 11). Bowling for Hutt, J. Williams took three for 61, B. Iloare two for 11, J. Brown two for 11, E. Gwilliam two for 0; lor Technical Old Girls J. Rowberry saptured three for 26, E. Hurcomb two ftSr 27. M.-Reimer two for 7, J. Tarrant two for 2. Junior Grade. College Old Girls 105 (I*. Murdoch 35. J. Oxley 21) beat Aitkens 85 (A. Sanders 37 not out, N. Thornton 14). Bowling for Aitkens, N. Smith took five for 25, and N. Ellis one for 17; for Old Girls 1). Hill took five for 17, Rogerson two for 24. and K. Baker one for 10.
