OFFICERS ELECTED
Labour Representation Committee At the annual meeting of the AVellington Labour Representation Committee, the Hon. P. Fraser, Minister of Education, and Air. S. O. E. Snow were apixffiited delegates to the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party, at Easter. Mr. AV. N. Pharazyn, who was recently appointed secretary of the New Zealand Federation of Clerical AVorkers’ Association, advised his withdrawal as a candidate for election to the AVellington Hospital Board because of pressure of business. Mrs. I’harazyn was appointed to contest the election in his stead. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. J. O. Johnson; vicepresident, Mr. G. AVard; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. H. Collins: committee, the Hon. 'P. Brindle, M.L.C., Messrs. K. Baxter, A. Parlane, J. Read and F. Twort; auditor, Mr J. Glover; trustees, Atessrs. J. 0. Johnson and J. Black. The annual report nod balance-sheet was adopted. Votes of appreciation were passed to retiring officers and to Labour candidates on local bodies.
