Poverty Bay Matches Dominion Special Service. Gisborne, March 10. The first day’s play in the Povercy Bay polo tournament took place to-day in brilliant weather. Seven teams, three from Poverty Bay, two from Hawke’s Bay and two from Mangaheia, are competing. The major competition will be the contest for the Savile Cup, at present held by Cambridge, for which the draw is as follows: Wamui v. Cambridge A; Hawke s Bay v. Glen Murray; Rangitikei v. Cambridge B; Matamata v. ‘Matangi.
