Spanish Planes’ Attack On Destroyers (British Official Wireless.) JRugby, March 9. Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty confirmed the attack on the destroyers Blanche and Brilliarit by five Spanish aircraft. The Government, he said took a serious view of such attacks, and a suitable protest was being addressed to the Spanish Government, for on the available evidence the British Government believed the attacking aircraft were in the service of the Spanish Government.
