JAPANESE CROSS RIVER
Chinese Flood Territory (Received March 10, 1.45 a.m.) Hankow, March 9. Under a heavy artillery barrage, a Japanese force succeeded in crossing the Yellow River at Szeshui station, on the Lunghai railway. The Chinese blew up dykes and flooded the area, immobilising tanks and drowning many of the enemy.
