The team consists of Messrs. R. Adam. J. Fleming, A. 8. Reid and R. M. Gray. During their stay in Wellington they have played games on the Victoria, Ilataitai and Wellington bowling green.-, anti have had an enjoyable time. Indeed. the members of the team have expressed themselves as delighted at having called at New Zealand, where they have made muUy friends among the bowlers and they are sure that th? visit will serve to strengthen the bonds of kinship between the two countries. They would very much like a team of New Zealand bowlers to visit Canada at some convenient time. Their season for what they call “lawn bowls” extends from Miry until October; but for a good part of the rest of the year the greens are under snow. However, they said. Canada was very beautiful in the summer and autumn and such a visit would be made very jolly if it could be arranged.
