Store sheep again found the market xer. active, however, and for two-tooths the iniiuirv was fully maintained at prices well up to last week's rates. Tup pens realised to 45/-. Aged sheep fell away in value, and nt the elose ot the sale were about 2/- down. Lambs suffered the largest decline, prices being down about 3/- a beau. Run cattle attracted considerably more attention than at recent sales, good prices ruling for some lines in excellent forward condition. The sale for dairy cattle, ol which there was a considerably iinproieu entry, was good, but fat cattle attracted little attention. Values realised were as follows:— Fat Sheep.—Best ewes, extra prime. 24/-; light prime, 17/- to 17/10; others. 15/- to 16/9; prime quality wethers, ’-3,'J to 25/-, second grade 22/- to 23/(>; lightweights, 17/- to 21/3; prime heavy lambs. 25/-; medium prime, 19/- to 21/3; unfinished, 10/5 to 17/3: b. f. two-tooths, 23/9. Store Sheep.—Top quality two-tooth ewes, 45/-; secund grade. 39/- to 40/9; g_°ou lines, 30/- to 37/-; small, 32/- to 00/3: backward, from 27/-; two. four and sixtooth, 29/0; good four-tooth, 35/1: others, 31/0 to 33/1: four and six-tooth, 25/-; liveyear, 19/3 to 24/3: four-tive-year, 20/- to 25/-; failing mouth ditto, 17/1 to 19/-; b. f. lambs, 14/5 to 17/8: w. f. wether, 14/- to 17/7.
