The influence of armour may be traced in the metal studding of the jewellery pictured above. Jewelled ornamentation of the church vestments, reminiscent of Russian jewels, is apparent in this cross of antique gold filigree and multicolour jewel stones bordered in rhinestones. Lower down is very modern jewellery in clear white glass known as "cracked ice and is especially cool looking for evening wear. White wooden bells and beads carry out the trend toward jewellery that dangles from the neckline or wrist.
