RACING AT BULLS

Well-Filled Fields For To-day PROSPECTS REVIEWED (By Cabbine.) Good fields have been obtained for the one-day meeting Of the Rangitikei Racing Club, to be hold at Bulls to-day. A highly successful fixture and an excellent outing are confidently anticipated. There will be a big field in the opening event, the Trial Plate, which Contains its share of little-known runners. Ambition’s form at Marton early in the season was promising and Scarf Dance and Gay Hunting have filled minor places. Royal Lirnond, now trained at Awapuhi, Will be making a reappearance in the Pukehou Hurdles, but as he has not had a race for some time backers may prefer Clettac and Royal Romance. Hazoor is regarded as a very promising recruit to jumping. Form says tluit Mea Mea is the best of the hacks engaged in the Ngaio Hack Handicap, and gs he is of solid physique he might make the weight concessions he is required to and hold his own. Conversion and Trebor, recent Winners, should go well, and racing should be improving State Bank. After his Wanganui Cup win Brazen King will be in strong favour for the Rangitikei Cup. Old Surrey has been galloping well at Awapuni, but Arctic King may need a race. Maestro was a winner at Hawera and should go well, but the best backed of the lightweights may be Middle and Terry. Though the Greatford Hack Handicap should not be hard to win, the task of bettors does not look easy. Malibu, Royal Choice and Ilias may be among the favourites. Great Hope will be regarded as a dangerous lightweight in the Bailey Memorial Handicap, and backers may support Alloa and Bluffer to run prominently in the Santoft Hack Handicap. The following are likely to be well backed inTrial Plate: Ambition, Scarf Dance, Gay Hunting. Pukehou Hurdles: Clettac, Royal Romance. , Ngaio Hack Handicap: Mea Mea, Trebor.
