GERMAN SUBMARINES
Operations In Spanish Waters (Received March 5, 1.20 a.m.) Barcelona, March 4. An official statement says that since February last year it has been established that seven German submarines, the numbers of which are quoted, have been in action in Spanish waters. Five German supply ships are also named. The present bases of the submarines are at Cadiz point, near Ceuta and in .‘he Canary Islands.
