Czechoslovakia Is Wei Prepared FRONTIER DEFENCES No Quick Success Likely In Surprise Attack By 'Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Rkeived February 24, 8.50 p.nr. Prague, February 24. A communique issued by the Chief of the General Staff, General Krejci, states: “The General Staff is aware of the possibility of war against the Republic without formal declaration of war. It is well prepared, and will not be taken by surprise. “The army defence works and the armament industry are highly perfected. Any enemy will do well to think twice whether a surprise attack has any prospects of quick success. “A huge barrier of permanent fortification is being constructed on the length of the frontiers. Eight aircraft factories are working at full speed, and a detailed scheme of food supply has been worked out.’’
