Miss Pamela Betts, Masterton, whose marriage to Mr. J. V. Reid takes place this evening, has been the guest of honour at many pre-wedding parties. Miss Marion Fitlloon recently entertained Miss Betts, and a number of her young friends at a “china afternoon” held at. her home, “Bowlands.” Miss Peggy James was hostess at another party which took the form of a handkerchief morning tea.
Every woman has the right to demand that the wedding day shall be perfect—That she shall.for this brief while—if never again, shine radiant as a star.
