22,130 Bales For Auction
On Friday BROKERS’ ORDER OF SALE Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, February 22. The second Wanganui wool sale of the current season will be held in the Opera House on Friday, when approximately 22,130 bales will be offered. The sale was originally scheduled to start at 2.30 pan., but to meet the convenience of buyers it is now timed to begin at 7 a.m. At the first sale on January 20, approximately 30,296 bales were catalogued, and the limit for Friday’s sale was fixed at 28,000. Buyers are expected to arrive to-day, and will inspect the clips in city stores. The sale will probably finish before lunch. Following is the order of sales for Friday and the approximate number of bales to be offered by each firm Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Newton King, Ltd., 5155. Levin and Co., 1730. Murray, Roberts and Ltd., and Johnston and Co., Ltd., 1777. New Zealand. Farmers’ Co-operative Distributing Co., Ltd., 2037. Freeman R. Jackson and Co., Ltd., 3700. Farmers’ Organisation Society,'" Ltd.. 3697. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., 2350. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., 1684.
