NIEMOLLER TRIAL

Sentence To Be Given At Week-End (Received February 22, 11.45 p.m.) Berlin, February 22. Pastor Niemoller’s trial is exiieeted to finish at the week-end, when the Press and public will be admitted to hear the sentence. Church circles expect that he will be sentenced to not more than seven months’ imprisonment, that probably meaning his immediate release, as he lias been held in custody for that period awaiting trial, but that he will not be allowed to resume preaching.
