The Matua brought 16,567 cases of bananas in addition to other fruit. Passengers included the Crown 'Prince Taufaahau, of Tonga, who is returning to -Sydney to resume studies at Sydney University. He is accompanied by a younger brother, Prince George Gu, who is to go to school at Auckland.
