Townsend and Paul Ltd.) and George Thomas and Co., Ltd., as follows: — Apples: Gravenstein, 2/6 to 5/- a bushel; cooking. 2/6 to 4/6; Cox’s Orange, 3/- to 5/6; Worcester Permain, 2/6 to 3/6. • Pears: W.8.C., 5/- to 7/- per threequarter case; L.8.J., 5/- to 7/-. Nectarines, 3/6 to 6/6 per half-case.' Quinces, 6/- to 7/- per half-case. Passion fruit, 3/6 to 8/- per half-case. Plums: Dessert, 5/- to 8/- per halfcase ; cooking, 3/- to 5/-. Peaches: Dessert, 3/- to 4/6 per halfcase; cooking. 2/- to 3/6. Lemons: 5/- to 16/- per bushel. Grapes: Local hothouse, 7d. to 1/1 per lb. Tomatoes: Ripe, 1/- to 1/6 per case; coloured, 1/4 to 1/9; round, 1/6 to 2/6. 1 Beans: 1/6 to 6/- per ease. Cucumbers, outside, 1/- to 2/- per case. Potatoes, 5/- to 8/6 per sack. Pie melons, 5/- to 6/- per sack. Cauliflowers, 5/- to 7/9 per sack. Kumeras, 5/- to 7/- per sugar-bag. Onions, 5/6 to 6/6 per sugarbag. Peas, 8/- to 16/8 per saek. Pumpkins, 4/- to 8/-.
