ALLEGED THEFT
Young Man Committed For Trial Palmerston North, January 28. Alleged to have stolen a cheque meant for his employer, Alfred Dell Reuben Butler, presser, aged 21, was charged in the Magistrates’ Court yesterday with stealing £3 from the Cooee Tailoring and Dry Cfeaning Company. He pleaded not guilty, and was committed to the Supr&ne Court for trial by Messrs. R. B. Robertson and J. A. Cruickshank, J.P. s. Detective-Sergeant A. B.j Meiklejohn conducted the case for the P°lße, and Butler was represented by Mr. G. Crossley.
