Shop Left Unattended For Few Minutes Dominion Special Service. Auckland, January 27. AVhile the premises were left unattended for not more than four minutes, shortly before 8 o’clock this morning, £26/18/- was stolen from the shop of Keith S. Logie, hairdresser and tobacconist, Parnell Road. As the majority of the money was placed well doivn beneath the counter, Mr. Logie considers that the thief must have been familiar with the' premises. At time of the theft Mr. Logie was In the yard behind the shop, and Mrs. Logie had gone upsairs. She was not out of the shop for more than four minutes. Mr. Logie has been iu business on the premises for only six months.
