Accidentally Shot By Companion By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, January 27. Tragedy overtook two men who were out deer-stalking in the Malvern district yesterday afternoon when one slipped and accidentally shot the other, the injury proving fatal. Tlie dead man was Henry Tuck, aged 35, a shearer at Alount Aigidus Station. Tuck and his companion went out .yesterday in tlie back country on a deer-stalking expedition aud hud travelled some miles when tlie accident occurred. His companion apparently slipped, the gun discharging, and the charge struck Tuck in the left thigh. Immediately the other man set out on the long journey to the station for assistance, but when a party arrived back Tuck was dead.
