NEW ELECTRIC ORGAN
Recital By Mr. H. Temple White The new Everett electric organ was introduced to a New Zealand audience for the first time last night, when a recital was given iu Nimino’s Hall, Wellington, by Mr. 11. Temple White. The hall was tilled to capacity by a most appreciative audience. Mr. Temple White was assisted by Miss Leela Bloy, violinist, and Mrs. Wilfred Aildrews, the well-known singer. The organ, which is the only one of its kind in New Zealand, has been imported by Hamilton, Niinnio and Sons, Ltd. It. is claimed that it differs from the usual electric organ in that the true pipe organ tone is produced. The beauty of the tone was clearly demonstrated by Mr. Temple White. The Everett organ is constructed ou standard lines, and has full compass, manuals and pedals arranged to the generally-accepted measurements. The organist sits down with the assurance of finding everything exactly as be expects and no new technique is required.
