FAREWELL TO MRS. JAMES BROWN

Mrs. 11. Brooks, Queen’s Road, Lower Hutt, assisted by her daughter, Miss Dorothy Brooks, entertained friends at her hom c on Tuesday afternoon to bid farewell to Mrs. James Brown, Marsden Street. Lower Hutt, who will shortly be leaving the district. The room was prettily decorated with hydrangeas and dahlias, and a dainty afternoon tea was served. During the afternoon 11 bouquet was presented to Mrs. Brown by Margaret Lines. Among the guests were Mesdames Buck, L. Aldous, Vickery, Hogg, David sou, Baigent, and Lines (2).
