The Directors of the Dominion Investment and Banking Association state that after consideration of the progress of the association and the accounts for the year ended December 31, an interim dividend for the six months, has been declared at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum. Payment will be made on February 14. The dividend is at an unchanged rate. It is the first interim payment to be made by the association which expressed its intention of doing so at the annual meeting in August last year. Elder, Smith Dividend Elder, Smith and Company, Ltd., have advised the Stock Exchange Association that an interim dividend at the rate of 7 per cent, per annum for the half-year ended December 31, was declared yesterday, payable on March 1.
