Annual Meeting To-day LARGE FIELDS CARDED Review Of Prospects

Good fields are carded for the annual meeting of the Ashhurst-Pohangina Racing Club at Ashhurst to-day, and there ie the likelihood of some of the horses wha raced at Trentham on the first two days being present. Ag the result of the dry spell the track, which has been liberally watered, should provide fast going. Betting will be on the single pool system, with a dividend indicator. The following horses may be supported in their engagements.— Hack Hurdles—Kentucky Song and Aurora’s Love. Pohangina Handicap.—Joviality and Great Hope. Komako Hack —Erebus and Copy Cat. Ashhurst Cup—Wildflower and Alby. Novice Stakes —Peach King and Earlscourt. Gorge Hack Cup—Race Boy and Ohanga. Siberia Hack—Erebus, an<\ Son and Heir. Raumai Handicap—Alunga and Race Boy.
