GERMANY DECLINES
Invitation From New South Wales
London, January 18.
The Berlin correspondent of the British United Press reports that the German Government has decided not to accept New South Wales’s invitation to participate in the sesquicentenarv celebrations. The decision is due to anti-Nazi measures by New, South Wales, such as the refusal to permit German doctors to practise, which Germany has repeatedly but fruitlessly tried to get repealed. She feels that it is impossible to send a delegation while these measures are still enforced.
