LONG SHEEP TRAIN
Record Consignment

A record consignment of 4000 sheep, which left Wairarapa early on Sunday morning, arrived at Tirau at 6 o’clock this morning. The train comprised 57 trucks, the largest yet undertaken by the railways. Only one animal died on the long journey.
