Collision Between Cycle And Car

Suffering from severe head injuries, Patrick Bracken, aged 15, a milk roundsman, employed by Roger Bros., dairymen, Wanganui, was admitted to the Wanganui Public Hospital early to-day. Bracken was proceeding along the Great NorthWestern Road, St. John’s Hill, at about 4.50 a.m., when bis cycle became involved in a collision with a motor-car driven by Mr. Walter Blennerhassett. The accident occurred near the Brassey Road intersection and both vehicles were proceeding in the same direction. Bracken was conveyed to hospital in the St. John Free Ambulance. His condition is reported’ to be fairly serious.
