The Pacific

Ottawa, January 7.

Department of Defence officials have drawn attention to the declaration of General H. D. Ketchen, of Winnipeg, that in the event of the United States becoming involved in war British Columbia would become another Belgium. They draw attention to the fact that the whole of the new Canadian policy is concentrated toward the Pacific.
