Saturday’s Matches Following are the results of women's cricket matches played in Wellington on Saturday:— Senior. College Old Girls 187 for eight, declared, beat Kilbirnie 51. Top scorers for College Old Girls were D. Hatcher (70 not out), I. Dickering (25), M. Rote (14 not out), 11. McLellan (22). May (16) and M. Bennet (15) were the highest scorerg for Kilbirnie. I, Pickering (four for 21) and J. Stenberg (fire for 16) were the best bowlers for College Old Girls. Successful bowlers for Kilbirnie were Saunders (four for 84) and Bennet (two for 38). College Old Girls batted first. Huns came slowly at first, but the batting brightened toward the end of the innings. Kilbirnie could do little with the bowling of J. Stenberg and I. Pickering, the former maintaining an excellent length throughout the innings. The College Old Girls’ fielding was good. Wellington 76, lost to Y.W.C.A. 86. For Wellington, J. Mack (23 not out) and M. Wilkins (16), were the . best scorers. Best bowling averages for Y.W.C.A. were returned by Tasker (two for 16), and Page (four for 20). The best ■Wellington bowlers were E. Daniels (four for 16), and M. Wilkins (two for 20). In their second innings Wellington scored 88. Both team's were short of players. Wellington took the field without the services of M. Corby, B. Porter, and E. Burdon, and Y.W.C.A. were without Z. Hardie and 0. 'Whitelaw. Intermediate. Hutt 301, drew with Y.W.C.A. 116 for eight. Best scorers for Hutt were B. Hoare (123). M. Sissons (56). J. Williams (42), and Gwilliam (33). For Y.W.C.A. the highest scorer was A. Yates. Successful bowlers for Hutt were M. Sissons (three for 38), and B. Hoare (four for 21). E. I’urdey (five for 1301 was the most successful bowler tor Y.W.C.A. Technical Day Girls, 215 for five wickets (N. Eeles 61, M. Renner 51, J. Trestney 42, E. Hurcomb 20, J. Rowberry 20), beat Trinity 64 (0. Watkins 32). Bowling for Technical Day Girls, J. Rowberry took three for 13; Renner, four for 15; for Trinity X. Ramsley captured two for SO; X. Gamon, one for 40; O. Watkins, one for 42. Junior. Technical Old Girls won by default from Hannah’s: Lever Bros, won by default from Kilbirnie; Aitkens won by default from Y.WjC.A,
