Motor Horns
Sir, —’What is this recent and particularly penetrating and objectionable motor horn? The tiling seems to be audible half a mile or more away and more resembles a ship's siren than anything hitherto used on land, with the exception of a locomotive engine’s whistle. When every family gets a motor-car and every ear is equipped with one of these noisy contraptions then half of us will bo in Porirua—and tiie other half ought to be.—l am. etc., SUFFERER. Wellington.
