NEW OPERA HOUSE

Among the items in the programme presented by Connors and Paul in their new Ango-American Revue "HoityToity,” which commences a short season at the New Opera House on Boxing Day, is the "Fan Dance” by Mdlle. Paulette. This offering has created a mild sensation during the recent Sydney season, Paulette being the only true exponent of this much dismissed dance ever to visit Australia nnd New Zealand, having come direct from the "Moulin Rouge” ballroom, Paris. Moran and Wiser, a newly imported American team of jugglers and hat spinners, have created a furore everywhere for their dexterity in achieving the almost impossible and at the same time interspersing a full complement of buffoonery throughout their performance. Syd Beck, Australian comedian, has a cargo of new jokes, while the Seven Flying Elmars, the 4 K’s with an artistic musical act, Peggy Kerr with her golden voice, June and Ginger, who dance through flames, together with a full company of specially selected revue artists, orchestra of .10 and full beauty chorus all help to maintain a fast-moving show of 2J hours On New Year’s Day a “Robinson Crusoe” pantomime will be given at the matinee performance only.
