MAUNGANUI LEAVES MELBOURNE. Cabled advice has been received, by the Union Company that the Maunganui left Melbourne at 10.30 a.m. yesterday for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and XVellington. She is due at Bluff next Sunday and here on December 23.

PORT TAURANGA WITH HARDWOOD. "With a cargo of hardwood, the Watchlln Line motor-ship Port Tauranga is due at ■Wellington at 7 a.m. to-day from tofts Harbour and will berth at the Pipltea Wharf. She is to leave here again to-night for Auckland to complete discharge. RANGITATA IN PORT. To complete her Homeward loading the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motorliner Rangitata is duo at 'Wellington this morning from Auckland, and will berth at the Glasgow Wharf. She is to clear this port filially next Tuesday for London, via the Panama Canal. PORT HUNTER DUE TO-DAY. To continue her Homeward loading the Port Line steamer Port Hunter is due at Wellington about noon to-day from Auckland. aud will berth at the Glasgow Wharf. She Is to leave here again next Tuesday for Napier to till up and is now scheduled to clear that port finally on December 28 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal.
