“Broadcast Descriptions Should Be Stopped”

Sir Abe Bailey urges that everything should be done to encourage racegoers to attend meetings.
“Steps should be taken to prevent the broadcasting of race descriptions throughout England,” he says. “We have only to wait for the development of television and there will be no necessity to attend race meetings at all.”
