MODEL ENGINEERS MEET

At the last meeting of the Wellington Model Engineering Society a good attendance of members listened to a very interesting lecturette by Mr. Boyen, chairman, his subject being a lathe, its capabilities and usefulness. For demonstration purposes Mr. Boyes took a piece of round brass and proceeded to fashion it into a smoke stack for a model Joco. Questions were asked, each answer being illustrated by a practical demonstration. As a conclusion for the year the last meeting, which is to be held on December 7 at_ headquarters, is to be an open night, tile just ructions to members being "Bring a friend and a model.” Any who are interested are invited to visit tile clubrooms and sec both finished models and models under construct ion.
