LOWRY BAY SECTIONS

Estate Of Late Sir Francis Bell

At Lowry Bay on Saturday afternoon Messrs. S. George Nathan and Co., aud Messrs. Harcourt and Co. offered for sale 23 sections in the estate of the lake Sir Francis Bell. These sections lie well to the sun on the hillside above the old residence, yet are quite near the beach and main road. Mr. S. G. Nathan acted as auctioneer on file ground. Only two sections were sold by auction, and another two were sold subsequently, but there are negotiations pending for some of the others. 'Though there were between 50 and 60 prospective buyers present, there seemed to be a difference between the reserves placed upon the lots and what the public was prepared to pay.
