The chairman of 'directors of Qantas Empire Airways says that with wholehearted co-operation between the Federal Aviation Department and his company it should still be possible to have Empire air-mail services in operation by next March or April at the latest. ,

The Federal Cabinet will consider next week proposals to expedite the inauguration of the flying-boat service by the provision of temporary bases.
