Glenside Golf Club Holds
Annual Ball ’ Alembers and friends of the Glenside Golf Club gathered for a night’s gaiety at the Khandallah Public Hall, recently, when the club’s annual ball and -presentation of trophies took place. The hall was attractively decorated with flags and shrubs, and large bowls of orange lilies added a splash of colour to the display of trophies on the stage. There was a large attendance, one and all enjoying dancing untU the small hours to the bright music supplied by the orchestra. The club captain, Air. J. H. Thompson, accompanied by Airs. Thompson, presented the cups and trophies to the successful players, and a small presentation was also made to Air. and Mrs. j. yy. Arnold in recognition of their services to the club during the past season. The social committee, to whose efforts much of th 3 success of the ball was due, comprised Alessrs. J. H.
