SECOND COURT OF ARBITRATION

Hearing Of First Dispute Begun By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, November 26. For tlie first time the second Court of Arbitration sat to hear a dispute today. The new judge, his Honour Mr. Justice Hunter, and his associates, Messrs. W. E. Anderson (employers) and A. W. Croskery (employees) had before them tlie dispute of the Auckland Hatters’ Union. Congratulations to tlie new judge were expressed by Mr. W. S. Moxsom, representing the employees, and by Mr. 11. J. Bishop, representing, the employers. Appreciation of tlie kindly welcome was expressed by his Honour, who said he Imped that in Lite high position to which they had been, called his colleagues and he would be able to carry out valuable work for the community. The court had heavy arrears of work and he asked the advocates to make their evidence as brief as possible.
