Thomas Norman George, labourer, aged 38, convicted on two counts of assault with intent to commit rape and one of indecent assault, was sentenced in the Supreme Court this morning to two years’ imprisonment with hard labour, and on two counts of common aesult, to which he had pleaded guilty, to one years’ imprisonment with hard labour, all the sentences to be concurrent. Regina) Forbes Harrison, aged IS. who pleaded guilty in the Lower Court to forgery and uttering, was granted two years’ probation on special terms and ordered to pay £3/2/11, the costs of the prosecution.
