A combined tramping clubs’ party, numbering a dozen, has been formed to tramp from the head of Lake Manapouri to Dusky Sound over the trail that was blazed only last year. The party is to leave Wellington for Lyttelton on Christmas Eve, and the Hampers w *ll be nb le to 1(1 Wellington on January 5 or 12, as their holidays permit. Mr. Morell, of Lake Manapouri, is providing tents and certain other camp equipment for the party.
