The battlefields of Northern China are plentifully sprinkled with ricefields, which hove provided excellent cover for the guerrilla tactics of the Chinese irregulars who arc supporting the Chinese regular armies in their resistance of the Japanese invaders. This picture shows that the Japanese, also, have not been slow to take advantage of the same cover.
