Move To End Bribery And Secret Commissions Singapore, October 19. Bribery and secret commissions which have been part and parcel of Eastern trading for thousands of years will disappear if a Bill to be introduced in the Legislative Council of the colony is passed. The Bill, which is “in the interests of commercial and public morality,” provides for a maximum punishment of seven years and a fine of 500 dollars.
