AIR RAID SHELTER
Mrs. Van Der Elst’s Intention London, October 17. Mrs. Van Der Elst, the campaigner against capital punishment, has bought Harlaxton Hall, near Grantham, and intends to convert the vast basement into an air-raid shelter, and install apparatus to keep 4000 people alive for a fortnight with oxygen.
