Bandstand At Recreation •Ground Moved
In accordance with a resolution of the Petone Borough Council, the bandstand at the Hutt Recreation Ground has been removed and the ground levelled and s-o wn.
Pedestrian Crossing Signs. To see the effect on traffic, the Lower Hutt Borough Council is to have signs erected at one of the pedestrian crossings in High Street.
Building Permits. Permits for buildings to the value of •£1945 were issued by the Petone Borough Council in the month ended September 30.
Provision for Parking. Accommodation for 03 cars is provided at the. parking ground, constructed by the Petone Borough Council and leased to General Motors.
Late Deputy-Superintendent. Sympathy with the relatives of the late Deputy-Superintendent J. J. Doran, Lower Hutt Fire Brigade, was expressed by the Lower Hutt'Borough Council last night.
