“The American’s” San Francisco correspondent says Joe Louis has announced that he is retiring after the Schmeling fight in Jun’e, irrespective of the result. The negro added that he was confident of defeating Schmeling. BRITISH BAN ON CARNERA London, September 30. The British Boxing Board of Control has banned the former world heavyweight champion, Primo Camera, from" participating in further contests in Britain. The board declares that Camera’s physical condition does not fit him to fight.
