Rugby, September 30. An extension to Bristol’s municipal docks at Avonmouth. which is necessitated bv increased trade and is estimated to cost £830.000, has been approved bv the Bristol City Council. 'The council lias already spent over £9,000,000 on .the docks. In the first live months of this year imports and exports through Avonmouth totalled nearly 2,000,000 tons.
