The newest spring ensembles are made from woollens as light as a feather and as soft as silk. Just opened at Anges Samson’s is the loveliest ensemble, consisting of a frock in the palest sagey green, to be worn under a -long straight coat of forest green. The frock is simple, with long pleats in the front of the skirt, stitched down almost to the hem. Stitched tabs across the bodice in military style, stitched cuffs and collar, form the decoration. The coat has a beautiful shoulder line, smart revers and strapped pockets. A perfectly lovely amber wool georgette is used for an enchanting ensemble -with a most intricately cut frock, buttoned with gilt buttons laced with a gilt chain and belted with wine suede. The little jacket is fitting in the back, and has three-quarter sleeves. Specially smart is a navy and white plaid in a featherweight woollen, cut entirely on the cross. The frock has short sleeves, oxidised buttons, laced with an oxidised chain, and a wide navy belt. The very new boxcoat is of plain navy with long revers of plaid and little pockets with a plaid lining. Agnes Samson, Lambton Quay. —Advt.
