TRAFFIC AT RONGOTAI

A party of Southland residents who stayed a night in Wellington on their way to Auckland by air to see the Rugby Test match arrived back at Rongotai ilerodrome on Sunday and continued their journey southward yesterday. They travelled in a Southland Aero Club aeroplane, Mr. F. Adams being the pilot and Messrs.-J. Adams and G. Speden being the passengers. To examine pupil pilots. Flying Officer J. M. Buckeridge, Civil Aviation Department, visited Hastings yesterday. He travelled by air and returned to Wellington yesterday afternoon. Piloting a Public Works Department aeroplane, Mr. A. Pritchard, Wellington, tlew to Palmerston North and back yesterday.
